Share Good News

I am sorry that I have slacked off a bit with my blogs. I have been busy lately.

I figured this week maybe we can all post some good news. This can be maybe a new recipe you've tried. Maybe you've accomplished something you've been working hard on. Or maybe you've experienced something that made you smile one day...anything.

We could all use some good news in a world where we tend to hear all the bad.

Keep It Up!

So how has the 2 week challenge been?

I have done pretty good, not exactly what I challenged myself, but almost. This week for sure will be 110% effort!

Let us know how things are going...and if you took the challenge just recently, please keep going and comment!

2 Week Challenge

So here's the way it works...

For the next 2 weeks, try doing something that seems to be a struggle in your life. Please comment what your challenge is going to be so we can hold you to it!

PS: The idea behind this challenge is to hopefully get you to incorporate this challenge into your life so that it isn't a challenge anymore, but part of your routine!

My challenge is going to be 2 things...1. Read my scriptures every day for 15 minutes. 2. Go for a walk with Alayna 3 days a week. Simple, yet challenging.

Weights

Ok...so the last post only had 2 responses...I hope it was because you were all exercising and moving instead of sitting in front of the computer!

Here's another one for you:

Do some sort of weight lifting to build up your muscles.

By adding muscle tone to your body, you will actually lose inches faster/quicker/better.

Suggestions:
sit-ups
push-ups
lunges
calf raises
squats
free weights (there are a variety of things to do in this area)

Just a Little Harder

Suggestion: Do it for just a little LONGER and a little HARDER

This pertains to exercise. I have been getting on the treadmill three times a week. My routine consists of walking then running (at intense speed) then walking, then running again. Get the idea!

Anyway, whatever your routine has been, try doing it 1-2 more minutes longer...and possibly just a little harder or faster (depending on what you are doing).

**Please tell us all your experiences while trying this out**

I will try to post weekly.

Hello

So I promised I would get something like this started! Sorry it took a little while.

I thought I would start out asking all of you a question...

What are the goals you have set for yourselves and would like to be accomplished?

(these could be anything from learning something new to trying to get in shape)

This way, I can get an idea of what can be addressed on this blog!

**I am not an expert so I am not going to do anything extreme...so sorry if this is what you were hoping for**
