I thought I would start out asking all of you a question...
What are the goals you have set for yourselves and would like to be accomplished?
(these could be anything from learning something new to trying to get in shape)
This way, I can get an idea of what can be addressed on this blog!
**I am not an expert so I am not going to do anything extreme...so sorry if this is what you were hoping for**

For real?
ReplyDeleteI want to look hot in a bikini.... ha!
Actually, I don't find goals motivating, just frustrating. And people who try and make me set goals are frustrating too. (Not YOU--I understand this is voluntary... (-;)
ReplyDeleteSo, what I would like to work on, but not a goal, are my muscles. I've been doing a little more strength and pilates stuff lately, and I've actually noticed some shape in my waistline. (I could show you if Kathi lends me her bikini, since I don't have one of my own.) So it has been motivating (unlike setting a goal) to actually see results, so I can do what really works!
I would just like to get in a regular routine of walking every day....doesn't seem like it should be that hard but... well Im utterly lacking the will power or motivation. I keep waiting for Timmy to have time to go with me!
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to run a 10 miler in June. I need some motivation and maybe something that helps me get that mental block out of my mind that i'm too scared to really run the 10 miles! haha
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to really stick to eating healthy and watching portion control. I also would like to know what I am doing wrong in my workout because my hamstring is sore and is not getting better. I have no idea if anyone can help me in that one. Maybe some new ideas for lifting weights or toning my inner thighs :)
ReplyDeleteI have 30 excess pounds that I would like to get rid of. Portion control and healthy meal ideas that my whole family will eat would be nice to have.
ReplyDeleteYEAH ANG!! Look at you go! Are we allowed to throw out suggestions here? If so, here is my suggestion...Instead of one having the mindset of "trying", how about taking that word out and say "doing"? Ex. I am doing my 10 miler by running today...I am doing such and such to get in my bikini...This is something I have been working on and sharing with my hair clients. "Positive Reinforcement" with ourselves. It is great to cheer ourselves on!
